Proposed transfer of European policies

Phoenix Life Assurance Europe are proposing to transfer policies to Standard Life International dac. We are writing to customers with ReAssure branded Swedish, Norwegian and German policies as well as Phoenix branded Irish, German and Icelandic policies to provide information about the proposed transfer.

Phoenix Life Assurance Europe dac (PLAE) is planning to transfer all policies to Standard Life International dac (SL Intl). Both PLAE and SL Intl are Irish companies within Phoenix Group.

The proposed transfer impacts all ReAssure branded Swedish, Norwegian and German policies as well as Phoenix branded Irish, German, and Icelandic policies. PLAE will contact customers to let them know about the proposed transfer.

The transfer will only go ahead following a rigorous legal and regulatory process. If the transfer is approved by the High Court of Ireland, the transfer is expected to take place on 1 January 2025.
