Why we’re introducing customers to Standard Life

To give you access to a broader range of products than we can offer, we’re introducing customers to Standard Life.
Standard Life provide a range of guaranteed income products (also known as annuities), paid to you for the rest of your life, or for a fixed term. They will take your health and lifestyle into account, which means you could receive a higher income.
Once they’ve given you a guaranteed income quote, they can check the market to see if you can get a better deal elsewhere.

- It opens up many more options than are available from ReAssure, including those that offer higher rates by considering your health and personal circumstances.
- Standard Life are a well-established and trusted name with a long history and a large customer base.
We want our relationship with Standard Life to be as transparent as possible, so here are some things you should know:
- We won’t pass your personal details on to Standard Life. They’ll only have access to your details if you pass them on to get a quote.
- You can be assured that by engaging with Standard Life in this way you won’t be called or contacted unless you indicate you are happy to be.
- You are under no obligation to accept a quote from them.
Getting a quote
It’s easy to get a quote, but you’ll need the following information to hand when you call:
- Your retirement option letter – if you don’t have this you can request a new one here.
- Your product code – this is not your policy number. You’ll find the product code in the ‘buying an income’ section of your retirement options letter. Standard Life won’t be able to provide you with a quote without the product code.
The phone number provided is for customers only. If you’re an IFA you won’t be able to continue on the call, instead please encourage the customer to call themselves.

Once you buy a guaranteed income, you won’t be able to change your mind. It’s important you feel comfortable you’re making the right decision.
