What if I need help using ReAssure Now?

You may have questions about how to use certain features. In the first instance, you can read our Frequently Asked Questions.

When you log in to ReAssure Now, our Help section is available to answer the most common questions you may have, including how to use secure messaging, what we will/won’t accept via secure message and general help for customers.

Feature availability

Some features, or things you can do on ReAssure Now are linked to specific products, policies and/or funds. This means they may only be available on a particular product type, or some but not all of your policies. Availability of some self-service transactions can also depend on individual circumstances and also on how policies are set up.

When we develop new features, we try to provide the things that will give the maximum benefit to as large a group of our customers as we can, which may mean that some products or features may be further away in our development activities.

Controlling the quality of our online data is also incredibly important to us. If we detect an issue with any policy data, we may also temporarily restrict the availability of a feature or a policy to enable us to correct any issues, ensuring that the information available is accurate and up-to-date.

Frequently asked questions

Why are you upgrading customers to ReAssure Now?

ReAssure Now is a modern portal built using new architecture and is already being used by customers to keep up to date with their policy information. Some of our ReAssure Life customers also have ReAssure Now accounts, so it made sense to give all of our customers the same great online experience through one portal. It also means we can focus on developing ReAssure Now in the future and everyone who uses it can benefit from the same enhancements to our online service.

When is the upgrade happening?

We’re planning to upgrade customers with active ReAssure Online Customer Centre (OCC) accounts to ReAssure Now towards the end of this year, and you can check here for any updates. When your ReAssure Now account is available, you’ll be automatically redirected to the ReAssure Now activation process from your OCC log in page. We’ll ask you a few questions to activate your new account and also ask you to update your security details.

I’ve received more than one email from ReAssure about the upgrade

You may receive more than one email about the upgrade as it depends on your personal circumstances. All current Online Customer Centre (OCC) account holders will receive an email letting them know about the upgrade, and if you need to take any action you may receive a further email letting you know what you need to do, if anything.

Why do I need to make sure my details are correct in OCC if I’m being upgraded?

We want you to have the best possible online experience. Making sure your personal details are up-to date now, or even getting yourself back in touch with your Online Customer Centre (OCC) account now if it’s been a while, will enable you to move seamlessly across to ReAssure Now later on.

When your ReAssure Now account is available, you’ll be automatically redirected to the ReAssure Now activation process from your OCC log in page. We’ll ask you a few questions to activate your new account and also ask you to update your security details.

Someone else uses my email address for their OCC account too

You may currently share an email address, for example between you and a partner, or between multiple trustees, however for security reasons, email addresses must be unique to each individual ReAssure Now account. You’ll need to agree which OCC account holder will keep this email address for their ReAssure Now account and which OCC account holder(s) will update their OCC account(s) with a different email address.
